News Slider Macro
Use the News Slider macro to display news from blogposts and pages with thumbnail and excerpt in a simple and beautiful slider.

Height | Height of the slider in pixels. Leave blank to automatically use the height of the tallest slide. | |
Auto Slide Display Time | 3 seconds | How long each news entry will be displayed in seconds, 0 turns auto slide off. |
Buttons Color | #0049B0 | Color of prev/next navigation. Use hexadecimal notation or HTML color name. |
Background Color | white | Background color of news entries. Use hexadecimal notation or HTML color name. |
Show Navigation | Enabled | Enable to show prev/next navigation. |

News Image Label | The file label of the image you want to display as news image in the slider. The image needs to be attached to the corresponding page or blogpost. Leave blank to use the first image the slider can find attached to the page or blogpost. If no image attachment with the given file name or label exists or the page or blogpost has no image attachments at all, no news image will be displayed. When no image label is entered, image is selected by name in alphabetic order (not by the date it was added). NB. To add an image label: Go to the page where images are attached > in the top right corner of the page click on the three dots > select Attachments > a list of images appears where you can add and edit labels! | |

Promoted Label | Label which indicates whether a news should be displayed as promoted news with a ribbon containing the label name. Leave blank for no promoted news. | |
Promoted Label Color | #3873ae | Color of the ribbon of promoted news. Use hexadecimal notation or HTML color name. Field only appears when "Promoted Label" fields is entered. |
Display Promoted News First | Enabled | Enable to display promoted news before regular news. Field only appears when "Promoted Label" fields is entered. |
News Image Label | The file label of the image you want to display as news image in the slider. The image needs to be attached to the corresponding page or blogpost. Leave blank to use the first image the slider can find attached to the page or blogpost.
